Meet the Artist

My name is Nats and I'm the artist behind Silvermoon studios and From the Hawthorn Tree mail club.

I have been painting since I was 16 years old, I started with watercolour and it quickly became my biggest passion in life! I also paint with gouache, oils and do digital illustration. 

I love creating art and making something beautiful that captures a place, feeling or moment.

My dream is to share art that people love and feel connected to.

A big source of inspiration for me is nature.  A lot of my art is inspired by the outdoors, beautiful landscapes, butterflies & moths and neolithic sites, I will often go out for a walk around where I live to find inspiration for new artwork.
